Since May 2014, Fabrice THOMAS is Vice-President of Supply Chain Management at ABB Robotics, in charge of Supply Units in Japan, China, US & Sweden. He manages a team of +100 people and lead activities for +500MUSD. ABB Robotics is the world leader of Industrial Robots, and one of the most technical and industrial advanced company in this sector, since 1974.

Previously he has been Sourcing Director for ALSTOM Transport in Asia Pacific, based in Shanghai.

He started his career in the retail sector before moving to consulting, focusing on development of industrial SME's.  With a strong attraction for new technologies, he joined Bouygues Telecom in 1998, initiating quality and development activities for suppliers in Infrastructure domain. In 2001 he moved to ALSTOM Transport in France, in Signalling and System Division.

He has an extensive experience in supplier management, successively holding positions in Supplier Development then Industrial Sourcing at ALSTOM. Over the past 15 years he has worked between Europe, America and Asia.

Fabrice THOMAS hold a MBA from HEC with Major in Business Development in Emerging Countries, a Master’s in General Management from EM LYON, and graduation from Cap Town Business School and IIMB in Bengalore. He is also graduated in Biotechnology from the French University of Orsay-Paris XI,

Since living in Shanghai, he is engaged in supporting several projects and notably the Madaifu Association for Children, raising funds through his passion for marathon.
